BestBallIQ collects minimal data to provide our service:
Email address: Used for authentication and subscription management via Stripe.
Draft data: Player picks, draft platform (DraftKings/Underdog), and timestamps — stored locally in your browser. We do not upload your draft data to our servers unless you explicitly use the "Analyze" feature.
Usage analytics: Basic extension usage metrics (feature clicks, pages visited) to improve the product. No personally identifiable information is included.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to:
Provide AI-powered draft analysis and expert takes
Validate your subscription status
Send you product updates and support emails (you can opt out anytime)
Improve BestBallIQ features and user experience
We never sell your data. We do not share your information with third parties except as required to provide our service (Stripe for payments, Anthropic for AI analysis).
Data Storage
Local storage: Draft history and portfolio data are stored locally in your browser via Chrome's storage API. This data never leaves your device unless you use the "Analyze" feature.
Server storage: When you analyze a roster, we temporarily process your roster data through our AI backend. This data is not permanently stored.
Subscription data: Email and payment information are managed securely by Stripe.
BestBallIQ requests the following Chrome permissions:
storage: To save your draft history and settings locally
activeTab: To overlay analysis on DraftKings and Underdog draft boards
host permissions (draftkings.com, underdogfantasy.com): To detect when you're drafting and inject the overlay
We only access data on DraftKings and Underdog draft pages — never your browsing history, passwords, or data from other websites.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be announced via email. Continued use of BestBallIQ after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
